Ecological Succession????
How would you describe the size of plants and the species diversity in an early stage of ecological succession?
1-small size, low diversity
2-large size, high diversity
3-small size, high diversity
4-large size, low diversity
Earth is the same size but the diversity I believe increased, because of the cross-breading and the evolution of new creatures. Algae is probably a good example there are over 8000 species just in green algae and 800 of those are freshwater, just one example. In Pennsylvania, The coyotes are different from coyotes from other areas because the crossbred with timber-wolves, also buffalo and cattle crossbred, we call them beefalo. lol. I thing the diversity is continuing to increase. With global warming also is adding to the available species to come.
