Will romaine lettuce regrow after I cut it?

I’m growing a garden. I’m growing romaine lettuce, and am wondering if my romaine lettuce will regrow after I cut it.

Nope. Stuff like romaine and mesculine are a one-shot deal. You can make it stretch by picking only the bottom leaves and letting the top ones grow out, if you’re desperate/hungry.

Of course, after that initial harvest you’ll be itching for more (isn’t living out of your garden great?). But lettuces and other cold-weather plants won’t sprout in the summer, so put the seeds in the fridge overnight, then went you plant them, put ice cubes ontop of the row every day until they come up. Keep them in the shade, too. That seems to work for me.
